Mo and K-Mart are the two vets who actually have value. Mo is easy to move because his deal expires this year. K-Mart is tougher because of the length of his deal, but a team with a need for outside shooting at the wing and a roster that makes sense to keep K-Mart for multiple years would certainly have some interest.
Our roster is so young that picks aren't much good. What this team needs is a starting PF this year or next. Anyone selected in next year's draft will NOT be ready to start.
Im on the trade our first round pick for Embidd bandwagon if we get in the top 4. He may be in better position and more experienced even though he sat out this year then any of the other prospects. I may be the only one on it but I think he has the potential to be great. Injuries..... Yes I know they happen but roll the dice!

First I don't see this as "officially a total rebuild". 3 of the 5 starters have been down most of the year. I see this as a good year to see what the young players have, make a couple moves in the off season as well as getting a good pick in the draft and going into next year with a lot of young talent with some solid vets mixed in. Vets that actually fit the roster though unlike Young.
Young & Bud are the ones I can either see go. Martin & Mo depend on the situation really. I haven't really thought about trades, but that's probably better for another thread anyway.

Nemanja is an NBA small forward. I do like Bojan a lot, though.

NOBODY'S TRADING FOR EMBIID.

Agree, I really like the vets/young guys mix that we initially went into the year with. And to your point, it's about getting the
right vets.
We know that there are a couple of obvious spots open next season, whether we trade anyone or not, that will require another body or two.
The first is backup point guard. Mo Williams is on a one-year deal and is probably having his worst year since he was a rookie. And LaVine has not clearly established himself as a credible NBA point guard yet. And either way, most teams carry three point guards on their roster, so we are going to need one assuming that we don't re-up Mo.
The second area needing help is Center, but I'm pretty sure that will be addressed through the draft since it's pretty top-heavy with decent Center prospects.
And the third area is Power Forward, given the anemic output of Young and Bennett. I don't see Young with the team next year. I think we either trade him or he declines his option and decides to take less money to join a winner. We're stuck with AB for another year, but there is no way in hell he should be starting. I would seriously look to re-sign Adrien on a cheap deal and just accept the fact we will have a role-playing PF until we work out a future trade or free agent signing to upgrade the position.
As I mentioned earlier, one wildcard here is Nemanja Bjelica, which we can either bring in ourselves OR dangle as a trade asset to help fill one of the other roles above.

Damn that is ugly. Truth hurts

Papal, One thing that might be ballsy of Flip would be to test the market for Shabazz. I wonder what kind of player he might fetch on the trade market? It's not that I advocate moving him, but if you believe that Wiggins is our SF of the future, with Martin, Daniels, and GR3 shoring up the other wing minutes over the next year or two, you could potentially get away with trading Shabazz without leaving a major gap.

That's the T-Wolve way isn't it? As soon as you get a good player, find a way to give him up or lose him.

If the Wolves do go in to rebuild mode, talk me into the idea of holding on to an oft injured 32 year old Sg in Martin over a 22 year old wing who hasn't missed games and seems to be improving in Shabazz.

Again, it all depends on what we get in return for Shabazz. We're not talking about a Wes Johnson or Derrick Williams dumpster fire trade here, nor would we be talking about someone trying to force their way out. All else being equal, I prefer to keep Shabazz. He's been one of the few productive players we have. But what if, for example, Milwaukee offered Giannis for him? Or Utah offered Gobert for him? (by the way, I don't see either team willing to make that deal in a million years). Just wondering what kind of value folks would expect back.
