They might do that package for one of those guys but certainly not both.
I think it's unrealistic too. I don't like the deal for one though. Haha. What if we throw in the 17? Does that become too much for us to give away?
I honestly don't know how much we would have to add to make it work or make it fair, but I think these two would round out a lot of our issues outside of a great compliment to KAT on the front court.

That looks more like a trade for Brandon Ingram by himself, which I'd have to consider.
You'd give up all that for Ingram? I suppose since his trajectory seems to be upward. Thats beyond what i would offer. You're probably right in that its probably closer to what the Pels would want for him. I just dont think he's going to be part of their long term plan as crazy as that sounds.
Ingram should give us hope not to give up on a guy like Culver after one season. He had a really miserable rookie year, like Culver, yet has finally started rounding a corner to plus-level player in year 4. It can take a while.
As far as the trade is concerned, he'd certainly give us a shot creator that can operate in isolation on the wing probably more effectively than either KAT or DLO. He also fills a position of need in that we are woefully short on starting-caliber forwards. The issue is he is yet another defensively challenged player.
Considering Ingram is coming off a 24 / 6 / 4 season... and he's only 22... reports of him being a star are not entirely unfounded.
He's yet another in a long line of young prospects with year-by-year improvement.
All too often we've had to search for hidden stats here and there with some of the Wolves prospects to find hope. With guys like Ingram, it's more obvious.
If I can get RJ at 17 I'm perfectly fine giving away 1, Culver and Johnson for Ingram. If not I would take a step back and give Culver a second season before I trade him and the number 1 pick for a good player, but not necessarily a superstar player. The cupboards start to get bare quickly with deals like this and we need to make sure we still have a strong pipeline of prospects in case we have to blow it up.
In regard to Culver, not only did he have a disappointing rookie year, I didn't like the way he played against top competition in college. I have less hope for him than most I guess.

It looks bad so far. For a wing to shoot less than 50% Ft is pathetic.

That is the video that gives me promise. He had a knack for defense that is rare in rookies. He has a ton to improve offensively, but I believe what he lacks is easier to teach. Ballhandling and passing are already above average in my opinion, it is now the shooting.
