The question I have is does Beasley move the needle enough to take playing time away from Culver and Okogie as all 3 are SG's who can't play PG? Do you give up on Okogie or Culver prematurely and trade one of them away? I don't know how Okogie and/or Culver really have room to grow and shine if we bring back Beasley. Do you just not care at this point because we are so desperate for shooters that we keep the lower floor with Beasley and move on from the potential of a young guy? I don't know what to do. At the end of the day that trade up to get Culver was just a really bad move and now we have to figure out where to go from here.
I think there is still room for those guys Plus other on the roster to some extent. Culver has already played PG as a rookie so I can see him playing some sort of role in that regard. Nobody has a firm grip on the SF spot and both guys can play there at this point. Long term? No Probably not but I don't think it hurts their development that much playing that spot and I'm not exactly worried about losing a playoff series because we have an undersized wing playing SF. Nobody in the wing group on this team is actually a sure thing to be even a solid starter to be honest even if I like all of them to one extent or another. I'm willing to take a chance paying Beasley say 12 million and he ends up being just a 7-8 million dollar 6th 7th man type. That's not a great outcome but it's not terrible and the contract isn't going to likely be beyond 3 years so it's not too onerous. Could a trade also be coming? Yes...which means let's see what things look like after the draft at least.
