Could have a decent 8 man rotation. We'd be lacking some girth but we'd be fast and quick shooting

We'd get killed on the glass. No thanks.

I think we need wings desperately. If that is Edwards great. Our wings are bench players on any playoff team in the league. We need at least one starting caliber wing on this team who can 1. Hit a shot 2. Play some D. I know it is a lot to ask.

Yup, if you look at that inventory of wings, none of them would start on a deep playoff team unless they were literally playing with three or four other stars in the lineup. It is a young group though. My hope is that may be one of them eventually grows into either a legit starting-caliber player or elite role player.

Unfortunately, Edwards appears to have a problem with #2 above and while he can hit shots, they tend to be really difficult ones that are often ill-advised. I don't trust that he could suddenly fit in as a 3rd option with KAT and DLO getting most of the touches and him expected to guard people, take smart shots, and create only when really needed to. He's not wired for that kind of role.

Vassell is the closest thing there is to a legit 3&D wing in this draft. I'm sure if we drafted him, he'd instantly forget how to shoot, kinda like Culver and Okogie did, both of whom were also decent shooters in college.

I'm excited to see a full season of Culver and Okogie together. I think were being too quick to dismiss them as only bench guys. I'm assuming whoever we draft or trade for will also be starting so I'm optimistic. Btw, where is 60win Doug?
