Saw this article with 3 options for Vikings offseason.

http://www.1500espn.com/vikings-2/2017/03/3-plans-vikings-free-agency/

Not a fan of any of them.

Each one of them had them picking up a FA running back. Unless they are super cheap and an upgrade to McKinnon I am not signing them.

I would go with the following:

Resign - Munnerlyn and Patterson
Sign: RT Riley Reiff, RT Mike Remmers, DT Karl Klug
Draft - RB, TE, OC, OG, OT

Line would be
Reiff, Boone, Berger, Clemmings, Remmers

Draft seems weak at OT, but solid at OC/OG. Pick the best of the bunch in round 2/3. Reiff and Remmers would be solid players for 2-3 years while we find replacements to groom.

I think the most surprising part of this offseason so far is that contract Rhett Ellison got from the Giants. I'm happy for the guy he is a good player and seems like a good guy.

What are you using for news? I'm using BSPN and I haven't seen a mention of that at all.

I use this thing called Twitter...

Anyway below is a really lengthy article (I didn't read it all don't care about the Giants) but the bottom line is Rhett got 4 years 18 million with 8 million guaranteed.

I'm allergic to Twitter. I discovered Spotrac does a good job with these types of signings. I also discovered the Locke/Colts deal.

I've found the last few weeks that the less I use Facebook (scrolling through the feed especially) the better off I am. I turned on notifications for a few more people and that's mostly all i see. It's been a good move so I get not liking a certain social media platform. I enjoy Instagram because mostly it's just pictures and not much of an agenda since I just follow a few people I know and Ricky Rubio. Lol

Also I've been using sportrac for NFL contracts but I've checked out over the cap as well and there was one instance I think they had better/more correct numbers. If you are bored or interested you can check them out. It's nice to have options sometimes. Basketball insiders is my go to for NBA contracts and info about the team's draft picks and other stuff too. It's pretty top notch.

The Vikings picked up Floyd's option. I'm hearing that they had no choice since he was injured and is still rehabbing.

I was wondering why they picked it up. If he's still injured either he has a bad doctor or he has a terrible work ethic to get back on the field because he's months behind when the team thought he'd be back.

Sounds like Patterson signs with Raiders.

Kalil signing by panthers is being ranked the worst FA signing this offseason.

I liked Matt Kalil and hope he proves them wrong and can stay healthy.
