Here is the video from last year's lottery draw. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oRrgvRmKLN8
What I didn't know until today was that we won both the first and third picks. Unfortunately, because we won the first pick already, our third pick was forfeited and they redraw the balls again. Silly Rule!

They are a few minutes away from starting the actual draw. Reps are heading for the drawing room per Twitter.

Getting in the top 3 would be cool. But unlike last year, I have no feeling of desperation that we need to hit it big. We got our cornerstones in Wiggins and KAT. I am still riding that high!

It's funny, Tim...I've always had this sick feeling in my stomach before (and during) the lottery. I always felt that we were going to move down or end up 3rd in a 2-player draft, and almost every year the lottery left me disappointed...until last year. I'm uncharacteristically calm tonight. I'm going to watch the lottery, but I'm not as invested in the outcome as usual. If we move up, that's great...but I'm not necessarily sold on anyone like I was last year with KAT. And it doesn't really matter to me if we end up 5th or 6th, because I just don't see any can't-miss prospects. So I'll be watching and cheering for a top 3 pick, but only because it gives us a better asset, and won't be unhappy when we got the more likely 5th or 6th spot.

I've been pretty relaxed about this year's lottery for the same reason as Long. But I'm suddenly getting anxious about it. Once again, I really want to jump into the top three and I'll be disappointed if we don't. :)

But it would almost be no fair to the rest of the NBA if we jumped into the top 3! ;-)
