I'd have a hard time believing anyone willing to take on that contract. If economics were not a hurdle, I'd go get Thon Maker for him. But please tell me just one thing, why can't he shoot anymore? And I mean every facet of his shooting. 3's, finishing at the rim, free throws, even long twos.

Maybe he and Tim Hardaway Jr can get together and figure that out. Just bizzare for both guys who are not particularly efficient but yikes bad this year.

One thing that may help with Wiggins contract is he is making money based on this year's cap. Money is gonna keep going up and some teams have to weigh paying Wiggins a bunch of money or the next Lavine Hardaway Bantum etc.

Tim Hardaway, despite the poor shooting, actually grades out as a much better offensive player than Andrew Wiggins. While both grade poorly on defense... Hardaway is abysmal.

In any event, for the 4th straight season, Hardaway will finish with a + VORP. Wiggins has yet to do that in his career.

I'm only taking about shooting percentages. Both guys are shooting ridiculous career lows from all kinds of spots. Look it up its bizzare. I've said before I wouldn't be surprised if Hardaway ends up being much more effective for Dallas than he was anywhere else.

Yes. Hardaway's overall fg% is a terrible 38.8%.

But he is 85.4% from the line (2nd highest of career) and 34.7% behind the arc, which is a tick above his career average.

To be fair, Wiggins is also slightly above career averages on three pointers (33.2% vs. 33.0%)
