It also takes previous years into account. So guys like Wiggins and lavine have a uphill battle to raise in this stat

I'm surprised Wig is as high as he is. This metric usually isn't kind to him.

Rose makes the top 10 worst defenders in the league. Hardaway Jr is a bit of a surprise.

Yes. I've railed about it since its inception.
It's primarily a marketing stat/tool for ESPN... and should be taken as only one metric... and far from any definitive one.
