We just swapped out a 3rd of our roster and we have no PG's for a late first round pick. WTF is this deal?

Considering Covington was THE top asset this team had... no sure things sans cap room... one guy about to get a huge raise... and a middling 1st round pick in a really bad draft...

Kevin OConnor is convinced any deal with the warriors would involve Wiggins. Maybe this is the precursor.

The only way the Russell deal happens though is giving up our first round pick and given how big of a team downgrade we just made that's looking like potentially the number 1 overall pick.

Yeah I wouldnt be thrilled about it, but who knows. Im not that down on this deal. Covington was off this year and likely trending in the wrong direction as I see it. We got to stack a few young assets and save some money.

Maybe. But it's important to judge Beasley as a $7M or $10M (or even more?) player. Because he's a restricted free agent. Who cares about this season. It's already lost.
