I think the chances of KAT leaving are high either way. Yes I loved Shabazz and wanted him to do well. So what? I've liked and overrated a lot of shitty players, it's called being a Wolves fan.

I liked DLo since college, and think he would be a unique pair with KAT. I liked Bazz because I thought his unique game would translate. It didn't. I know I'm not the only one on this board to have missed on a prediction.

I'm not sure why it's bad business timing with Wiggins when in fact I'd argue his contract is a bigger albatross than Gorgui's. But either way, fine, as long as the end result is that if we add DLO, then ultimately Wiggins goes eventually in "step 2" of a revamp of the roster, I'd be OK with it.

We trade Wiggins for DLo we give up draft picks as I see it. Would be a worse deal from what I can tell.

Capela for Covington straight up works. Unfortunately our coach and GM are too focused on playing one big for them to make a good move like that.

Not gonna happen since our system doesn't allow for two bigs to play at the same time. It would be a waste of money to have anything other than KAT + cheap vet or rookie contracts at that position (in our front office's opinion). Of course there is Dieng, but he was signed under a different regime.

Furthermore, Rosas grew up in the Houston front office, the very team that wants to trade Capela! Also the very team that fielded a starting lineup with PJ Tucker as their Center recently.

As long as Rosas is in charge, we will not be making trades for bigs. It's all about wings and guards that can shoot and/or handle the ball.

Not saying I agree with this, but it's clearly the philosophy and they haven't wavered from it so far.
