If Monroe and Allen are already getting bought out that's a good sign for the Wolves maybe getting a guy at some point. I agree those guys have better landing spots than the Wolves. I like Monroe but he isn't gonna play here.

Does anyone know if Joe Johnson can still defend? He is struggling from 3 this year so far but his career resume says he can hit them even if it's just at a decent volume. It would make sense to find a guy that's a shooter though instead of another guy that is more about isolation with an actual nickname of "iso joe".

For the reason you cited, I'm not big on Joe Johnson here. Jimmy Butler already does what Joe Johnson at his best can bring... only better.

There's a place for Johnson on another team though. A team in a spot like Utah was in last season when he saved them in the playoffs...

Halfway decent three point shooters aren't going to get bought out.


Team has to start making use of the G-League or seriously question why they have a team.
