Just for fun, I did a quick rundown...

Locks?
Curry
Green
Leonard
Durant
Westbrook
Griffin
Paul
Lillard
A. Davis
Cousins
Harden

That's not taking into fan favorites into account... guys who are getting voted in no matter what.
But for this exercise, let's just go with deserving players. That leaves ONE spot:

Wiggins:
22.3 ppg / 3.6 reb / 2.0 ast / 43.3%

Bledsoe:
23.2 ppg / 4.2 reb / 5.8 ast / 48.0%

Knight:
21.4 ppg / 4.5 reb / 5.4 ast / 44.1%

Gay:
18.2 ppg / 7.0 reb / 2.5 ast / 46.0%

Rondo:
12.7 ppg / 7.6 reb / 10.8 ast / 44.7%

Favors:
15.8 ppg / 8.9 reb / 1.5 ast / 53.1% (good defensive stats too)

Others:

D. Jordan.
McCollum
Gasol
Gobert

Geezer Division:

Nowitzki
Duncan
K.Bryant (never underestimate rube fans)

None of the bigs who can't score like DJ (Clips also aren't getting 3 versus the Warrior's 2) and Gobert are getting in. I see 4 PG's, 4 Bigs and 3 wings as your locks. You can't have two guys from an under .500 team so McCollum is out. Kobe's only chance is being voted in because he's on the second worst team in the league. Dirk probably gets the last spot as long as the Mavs stay top 4 in the West. It's tough for me to call AD a lock when his team is 3 and 11. How many all-stars have come from teams that bad? You have 4 locks from 4 of the 5 worst teams in the conference right now. That's not usually how all-star weekend works. You maybe pluck one or two guys from the bad teams, but 4 is a lot. If the standings hold relatively the same, I think one or two of your locks may not get a spot.

My first thought was yes, but that was probably because I was basking in the homer glow of his performance last night. But after looking at Abe's list, I don't think he makes it. Probably at least one geezer gets in (Dirk is shooting 53 % overall and on threes) and Bledsoe's stats are better than Wig's. Plus he's only 20. I think he waits one more year.

I think it all depends on votes. He is gonna get some additional votes because he is a Canada guy so some fans from that region will be voting for him. I think he may not get in to begin with but may get in when some dude gets hurt/doesn't play. He will play in the sophomore rookie game so he will play in Toronto but I think he makes the big game but I not going to be tore up if he doesn't.

Draymond Green is an All-Star lock to you, Abe? I like your list except for that one. Most overrated player in basketball and it's not even his fault. Some are even calling the guy a top-10 player in the league, which is absurd. Everything he provides is valuable, and he does impact both ends of the court, but he's an elite role player. Nothing more, nothing less. Put him on a different team and he's viewed much differently.

12 / 8 / 7 / 44% on threes and arguably the best defensive player in the L...

Plus, he might be the 2nd biggest name on the defending champs and what's looking like one of the better teams in NBA history.

For such a good team, I don't see how GSW gets only one participant.

[Note: I'm coming around on D. Green fitting in well in more systems... although he's PERFECT for GSW. Or, does he just seem like he's the one fitting in instead of GSW being who they are BECAUSE of who he is? Heck, most NBA teams are searching for a guy like Green. Very very few are having much luck with it. I saw a comparison with Milsap being the closest guy? In any event, in today's NBA, he's more than a "role player."]

But damn, are guys like him valuable. You are right that he's rendered much less effective without high usage players around him - he's not capable of being a go-to scorer. But think of how critical players like Ben Wallace or Dennis Rodman were to the championship teams they were on and it feels like Draymond is very similar - may be even better because he's so damn versatile.

I love Andrew Wiggins, but I vote no. Maybe next year.
