Porzingis ceiling is much higher than okafor. I remember you calling him a bust to be.
Okafor is solid but he might not be much better 2-3 years from now than he is today.
I agree with lip that at the end of the day, KAT, Porzingis and mudiay are going to be the best 3 players in this draft.
Yeah, I agree that Porzingis' ceiling is much higher than Okafor. Okafor is what he is, and that's a good player, but Porzingis' game is so diverse he will keep getting better. What's surprising me is how much better he is than Okafor this season on both ends of the court. I really thought Okafor would be more NBA ready than Porzingis, but I was wrong on that one. Here are their comparative stats so far:

Okafor and Noel are just getting boned hard by there being very little NBA talent on the rest of that team. Hinkie's salary should be a dollar until he puts a respectable team on the floor.
I thought even before the draft Zingis had a chance to have an impact right away unlike most people. He seems to have shown (haven't watched him this season) along with Towns a pretty diverse set of skills that make him look like a pretty high potential player. I still gotta give Okafor his due though he is getting a ton of touches but playing with a joke of a roster with probably poor PG play and nobody else to make him look better offensively. This could be a heck of a draft class it will be a fun one to follow.
Trio of Towns, Okafor and Porzingis might be the best threesome of big men from same draft since Shaq, Mourning and Laettner. Garnett. Wallace and McDyess/Joe Smith threesome was also pretty good group but none of them had as much impact in first year than Towns and Porzingis are having for their teams.

btw. Sixers with only Okafor have defense rating 124, with both Okafor/Noel they have defense rating 111, with only Noel without Oka4 they have defense rating 96 (which is pretty damn good), if Hinkie drafted Porzingis to play 4 with Noel at 5 they would be set to be the best defense in the league for 10+ years and with all those other assets he has he could make damn strong team for next year, with Oka4 they are doomed (unless he improves his defense A TON,which i do not think will happen), not to mention that they do not fit well together at all as Noel brings no spacing for Oka4 who then gets doubled/tripled in the paint
m4gor - Hinkie is not hitting on his picks. That is the biggest problem with the 76ers, Things worked for for him in 2013. 2014 was a mess. This year he might have painted himself in a corner with Oakfor pick.
Okafor has been awful on defense and inefficient on offense. He's pretty much turned out to be the worst-case scenario so far. And as M4gor mentions, the Sixers are actually a pretty competitive team when he's on the bench.

Very meaningful, m4gor. Porzingis and Okafor are clearly both difference makers on the defensive side of the floor, but in mirror opposite ways. Many of us scratched our heads at Philly drafting another center when Noel and Embiid were already there, but the results have been even more horrible than we could have imagined.
There is a silver lining, though...our home losing streak ends tonight!
I don't know LST.....This Wolves team is hard to predict. Remember how the Sixers beat us both games last season? Truly a low point. I wouldn't be surprised at all if the Sixers make a game of it. They have to win at some point and why not against a team that plays unmotivated on their own home floor? I'll bet Target Center will be dead tonight.
