The Bulls last year were 23rd in possessions per game, and 27th the year before. Is that really what you want for this team? Bad fit.

PS: Imagine Thibs with a Rubio-Wiggins-Noel-Towns core. Oh ma gawd.

Bring Thibodeau in here and you have what the Wild is going through right now. You would have a coach not knowing what to do with a bunch of thoroughbreds. The horses need to be let out of the barn, not shackled to a post.

Thibs would probably make us a defensive juggernaut in a span of 1-3 years, but yeah, he wouldn't know what to do with our talent... *rolls eyes*

Do you always have to be a douche when someone disagrees with you? Is the sarcasm and rolling of eyes necessary?

with the 5th or sixth pick who would you take, Hield, Dunn, or a PF? I think we will pass on Noel, knowing this team. We'll get another player on a rookie contract. I thinking shooting is the biggest hole. But does Hield have the potential Dunn has? Who is the best player on the board (that we have a shot at) to improve our shooting and scoring 3's?

I take BPA regardless of position. The most important thing is to get a good player, and you enhance your chances at that by just looking at ability. We should be able to find a couple shooters elsewhere. And if the BPA happens to be a good shooter too, great.

Every year it seems to be, "All we need is one more lottery pick and a new coach!". 10 lotteries and 5 coaches later, we still suck.

Absolutely!! Win games and let the rest take care of itself.

How'd that work out for the Musselman era Wolves? Going into this season, and really damn near every season I've been in complete agreement with you. With 31 games left in the season they could very easily drop from their current #5 to #10 as there are 5 teams within 6 games above them in the standings. Over the next five or so years another 10 wins this season is not going to be worth more to this team than another potential home run draft pick.

There is far more danger to these players development from going on a hot streak to end the season and ending up with another season of Mitchell and likely missing out on a top five pick than there is in losing another 20+ games to end the season. Anybody who believes potentially winning half of their remaining games (best case scenario) will be better for the Wolves hopes of contending for championships than another great (and likely last for some time) top 5 pick and a quality new coach is flat out crazy.

You don't have to be a bottom 3 team to get a top 3 pick. And I understand probability perfectly. Just having Sam in charge alone is going to keep our win total down. I don't think you have to worry about this.
