It killed me when Adelman started taking the ball out of Ricky hands but I guess his lack of shooting confidence warranted it (for him). Fran Fraschilla said it best that a coach needs to give Ricky the ball and get out of his way. Ricky looked like a man who is going to make good on his declaration that he needs to get this team to the playoffs.

Lastly, I absolutely loved the way Clarkson tried to bully Ricky and Ricky went about his business like he wasn't there .

15 to 18 PPG? Come on now. What if Towns grows another arm out of his ass? Let's slow down a wee bit

He would be a better defender, but he would have a hard time taking a dump or getting a date.

As a millionaire athlete... I think finding dates would be easy. With 2 arms. 3 arms. 9 arms. 0 arms.

I think it is obvious that Ricky won't be posting the same numbers, but it could certainly open things up more for the other players. Just nice to see his shot go down for a change.

I may be wrong, but I thought the arc on his shot looked pretty good in the first quarter, and then seemed to regress when came back in. Not sure why Sam pulled him so early, as I am a big believer on riding a guy when he is on fire. You never know what he might be like after he cools down.

I think the extra arm out of the ass would actually hurt his defense. I feel it would hinder his ability to run and jump. Perhaps we need more information. Would this be a full sized arm? Or like a baby's fist sticking out?

He could use it to hold down his defender when posting up offensively. There might be more to this, and we should definitely explore it more.

Agreed SJM! I'm fascinated by the possibilities.

Nice to hear Stephen A Smith talk about how Ricky can't defend on First Take this afternoon. I'm going to guess Mr Smith also thinks John Stockton couldn't defend.

I think Ricky had 2 fouls when Sam took him out.

Just saying fellas, we do this after EVERY SINGLE GOOD RUBIO GAME! Every time.

Well what if he did this the whole season?

Obviously the work on his shot paid off!

And he's still developing too!

Then Rubio goes into a month or so stretch where he's barely getting to 10 PPG , shooting around 35-38%. Until the next time he has a good game then its WHAT IF again.

Literally Rubio is the only player I can think of that gets this treatment at his stage of his career. It's like some disease or parasite that infests the populace.

Cmon Alex, if we don't talk about it now, we may not get another chance. Besides, Steve Nash took a nice jump in production in year 5. It's meant to be.
