Agreed, that prick Kobe did this to him. Was probably licking his lips too while he did it. I was so excited when Rubio went off in that first game against the Lakers, thinking this could be a surprising year with Towns coming along faster than expected. And now reality sets in again. we're left waiting for another injury recovery with Rubio. Do we have to keep him under 20 minutes a game now too? What do we do after the next injury? He's such a great leader and fun to watch, yet so aggravating and unreliable, and possibly untradeable now.
Ricky's responses all felt very measured. I think his praise of Garnett was genuine and the language he used to describe Lavine was interesting.
Given that Garnett will likely close out his career this season and Ricky is not a vocal leader, I would have loved to hear Ricky's opinion on who might fill that role moving forward.

I'm thinking Towns jumps into that role.
Towns makes a lot of sense.
I thought Rubio saying he liked to lead be example not being vocal was interesting. I still think Rubio can be a more vocal leader. He talked about it in this interview not being able to lead much when he isn't able to be on the court. If Rubio can stay healthy I think he can be a more vocal leader off the court. He might not be THE guy for that but I think he will become one of them IF he can stay healthy. That hasn't happened enough since he came into the league.
