If he is in a different class, don't you think the 76ers would know that?

Who knows what they think. They like trading players for picks.

Nonsense

How about this? You take the Knicks deal and flip 4 for Embiid or Noel. Then we still get a top level big and pick up a top 10 pick next year. Noel has really turned into a great defender so I consider him a good get for the #4 pick and I've always thought Embiid would be great if he could stay healthy.

And this response proves how ridiculous these threads are.

What's Hinkie's number since you clearly consult with him and know how he operates the team? He just traded Payton for Saric who won't be over for two years and then traded MCW and McDaniels for picks.

Clearly a good poll, since there isn't any agreement on what the right move would be

Interesting poll, hockey. I would love the Philly deal, because I'm just not sold on this year's draft. Last year, I thought there were three "can't miss" players. It looks like I was correct about Wiggins, and we'll have to wait and see with Embiid and Parker. There are things I like about each of the top 4 prospects this year, but I also see question marks in all of them. To have a chance at a guy many experts rated ahead of Wiggins until he got hurt, in exchange for what I see as uncertainty, is an easy choice for me to make...provided of course that we can determine that Embiid is 100% when we make the deal.

I'm extremely tired of hearing about what "experts" think. What do you think? What is your opinion on player A or B?

Trust your own basketball mind.

Ha, I get what your saying...but on the other hand, I'm happy to defer to guys who do something for a living, rather than just as a hobby like me.

As I said, we would have to be comfortable with Embiid from a health standpoint...if not, no deal. Having said that, I like Embiid much better than anyone in this year's draft...even though I'm intrigued by a few guys this year. I watched a lot of Kansas last year because I was intrigued by Wiggins' potential. But the more I watched them, the more interested I became in Embiid. His defense was intimidating...there were games where I would swear he easily blocked or altered double digit shots, and that's impressive. And I saw him improving as the year went on, which made me wonder about how high his ceiling could be. I thought he became a better scorer, rebounder and defender as the year progressed. His combination of size and athleticism is downright scary. And although his offensive game wasn't fully developed by the time he went down, I could see him working very efficiently with a PG like Rubio, and be a contributor offensively right away. And there's no question in my mind that he would be a dominant rebounder and defender right out of the chute.

This year's draft looks fairly deep to me...there are several guys I like in the late lottery. But I'm still not convinced there are any sure things coming out this year, and I still think last year's Big 3 are as close to sure things as you can find.

That's a fair response. Lol you know the game, LST! I wanna hear what you think. I'm tired of hearing Chad Ford and those guys, that's all.

I am with LST with how he feels about Embiid and this draft but man I want some serious experts looking that guy over and I also probably tell The Sixers I need something else because I have other offers on #1 which is true. On the other hand if the guys at the top you plan to draft a C those guys are health concerns because they are big and so... I hate hate hate saying what if but man I really wish we had that Miami pick. Sigh

The Knicks offer idk I guess it really depends how bad you think the Knicks are going to be. I'd probably pass.

Honestly I would probably pass on both deals but having those options I would use that to really look to trade down.
