What a bunch of morons. Andrew Sharp is the only one making any goddamn sense.

When your best player (and the best player in the league) is 30 years old, you take the 25 year old all-star over the raw 19 year old prospect every single time. Kevin Love is a distributor, a floor spacer, and a scorer who doesn't need the ball. He is a perfect fit next to Lebron. If they can manage some sort of rim protection at center and an additional 3-and-D guy at the other wing, the Cavs will be a lock to make the Finals for the next half decade. You don't jeopardize that because Wiggins might someday turn into a very good two-way player.

And now that Wiggins is available, we can safely say these idiots don't know wtf they're talking about.

Good post horatio

Il add that people seems to ignore that love is only 25 yrs old! And Irving is only 22. Both are all star players that are still not at their peak prime age of 27-28. Lebron at the very least being the freak athlete he is still has 5 elite years left in him. Even after five years, love is still only 30 and Irving 27. Both are still in their prime and can still make the cavs a contender for 3-4 more years with an older bron. We are talking about a 7-8 years of championship window for the cavs here starting next season if they do get love. They are crazy to choose to wait for 3-4yrs on wiggins to be ready.

This is a 30 team league and it is hard as hell to win a championship. If you can increase your odds of winning one, let alone multiple ones in the next few years, you do it at all cost, especially for a team that has never won one before.

It's really embarrassing when you see national media editorializing almost exclusively in their own interests. Would Bill Simmons love it if Cleveland somehow snags Love without losing Wiggins? Of course. That would be in his best interest. In fact, that would be best for just about every casual basketball fan on the planet. It wouldn't make any sense for us here in Minnesota, but that's really of very little concern to national media. Seriously, doesn't the incredulity feel like raw entitlement? It's like they're all insulted that this is even a negotiation, that the Wolves have the temerity to even attempt to obtain something of value in a trade.

Maybe they need Rubio, too? Let's check with Simmons and the rest of the myopic dumbasses who pass for journalists these days. See if they want us to cast off any other assets in exchange for whatever Cleveland feels they can spare.
