Sounds like a team full of minor leaguers.

Makes sense given the Wolves status as the NBA's farm team

Yep, we are talking about Napier, layman, Graham all not in the playoff rotation, bell was in and out of the rotation with all the injuries that the Warriors had. Vonleh was solid on the worst team in basketball.

An argument can be made every player we added is worse than all the players we lost (rose, deng, Gibson, saric).

We are going to be bad assuming no massive improvement in okogie, Wiggins, or Culver is great out of the gate.

Its worth mentioning that if Covington plays even 40 more games than he did last year that's a pretty big deal. Teague playing an additional 20 games and being a bit more effective isn't a small thing either. I think at least one of these guys introduced a couple days ago turns out to be plenty worthwhile. I'm not suggesting we are gonna be good just saying I don't think we are gonna be bad team unless things really take a bad turn which of course could happen...and we have our draft pick so...

I agree. If Wiggins suddenly emerges as an all star caliber player, putting up 20+ points efficiently, pulling down 6 boards a game and playing ball-stopping defense, then the picture changes. I don't think Okogie is poised to have a breakout season. He still has a long way to go, but I'll wait until he's played three seasons before I start closing the book on him. I don't expect much from Culver. I haven't been high on him and if he pans out it will be a couple seasons down the road.

Rosas is clearly looking long term - a high lottery pick next summer along with the development of our most talented young guys, Culver, Okogie, Nowell, KBD. And maybe Vonleh suddenly breaks out after showing some positive signs last season.

If the Wolves are deeply embedded in lottery territory as the Feb. trade deadline approaches, then I would expect Rosas to trade Teague and Covington to contending teams at that time in exchange for picks. I'm just afraid Covington will be marred in injuries by that time.

At this point Wiggins picture should be in the dictionary next to both If and Delusional.

I bet he fumbles even when playing with his own balls.
