No real weakness in his arsenal. Great feel for the game. Reminds me of a Gary Harris or Devin Booker. I don't see the Harrison Barnes comparison whatsoever.
I'm curious how you choose a favorite player so early? Did you watch a lot of high school games of Grimes? Grimes looked good against Michigan State, but I'm still not sure that makes him translate to an NBA surefire star after one game.
I've been following these guys since they were juniors and seniors in high school, and watching them play on national teams. I'm not an expert, but I've already seen a lot of minutes of gameplay.
When the national team games are happening I'd be interested in knowing and starting a thread on them. I don't usually acess high school aged ball but it seems like it may be the last pure basketball left with the joke that college ball is becoming.

Actually the first draft thread was started a few weeks ago. =)

This is prospect watch, not the draft thread lol. We got no chance at half the guys who will be mentioned here unless win the lottery.

Doesn't the "new and improved" system kick in this year? So the odds go up quite a bit, right?

Somehow I think we'll find a way to still never move up in the lottery.

Within reason I still like going BPA and it's early but is there some PGs that we may have a shot at that are intruiging? A dynamic shot creating PG with this team would be pretty sweet.

Agree 100%. It's seems every year the point guards slip a little more in the draft because there's so many of them. It seems like there will continue to be oppprtunity when everyone is looking for athletic wings.
