We almost went 24 hours without a post on the board. I think the board disintegrates if that happens...

I'm not sure how many of you might remember this. Last year at this time there was a Wolves Weekly show that included an interview with Milt. In the background was a whiteboard with a list of free agents by position, sorted by ranking. The PF list had Brand at #1.

Honest Tim I think Brand came into my mind before you posted that because of the board you mentioned. Brand played 36 games last year. I assume some maybe all of his games missed was just DNPs not injury issues but I do t know. The block steal numbers are still there but that's ablout it.

Once Brand entered the NBA I became a fan of his. I watched those Bulls teams because Tim Floyd was coaching and I could watch almost any of them on cable at my aunt and uncle's house here in Lincoln. I kept up with his career as time went along. He may not have been a carry your team superstar but he was a very very good 2-way player. It sounds like he was considering retirement last year so I don't know what may happen.

So much for the Elton Brand idea. He announced his retirement yesteday...
