I am now worried we will draft Kris Dunn. He is a good player, but don't see him as top 5 player.

I prefer that the team finish strong, .500 or better. Otherwise we are to keep wondering if these guys are good enough. We have a core group now of a foundation.

Then again, I don't want anyone to think Mitchell should stick around.

We're already in soft tank/development mode. It's going to be really difficult to win games playing Jones, Payne, Muhammad and a D-League player off the bench. We saw that last night too.

I'd think that getting to No. 3 in ping pong balls is obtainable, but even if we stay at No. 5, we could still get some lotto luck and jump up.

These are my concerns. We really need to see some progress the rest of this year. If we don't you have to wonder just how many problems we have in addition to the coach. And you're right, winning too much might propel us into perpetual Sam Mitchell mediocrity.

Prediction: We'll be having this same conversation next year

Both the Suns and the Nets won last night. If we can find a way to lose to Nets again tonight we'll move right into a tie for bottom four - yeah! And...we'll only be three ahead/behind the Suns for bottom three with two head to head games to tank. It's all coming together. Sam Mitchell - you beautiful sumbitch. He knows his role. I like it! The goal for the last 20 is to tank to top three in lotto balls. This is our equivalent of a playoff push. Enjoy it fans!

This is garbage. There is so much promise on this roster, perhaps more than ever, and there is still a sense of despair. Glen needs to show some support to the players and let someone else coach the remaining games. He also needs to dummy up and let Kaplan influence the next coach, even if he hasn't settled with the Grizz. It should happen eventually. Retaining Sam would be an incredible fail on a long list of incredible fails. I will seriously consider not watching anymore if Sam is somehow retained.

I'd rather not have Glen do something that costs us any more draft picks.
