Basically Moor was the top guy when it came to everything business with the Wolves and the Lynx. I'd guess he has very little input into the basketball side of things. Keep in mind just how big of an organization some of these.
Tim Glen didn't exactly clean house when it came to Moor he just moved him to another office probably in another building but Moor still is going to be a caretaker to bother he Wolvea and the Lynx in his new position. It doesn't hurt to have new blood though.
I'd be curious to hear from Lip or anyone else that's a season ticket holder etc what it is that the Wolves organization does really well. It feels like there can be various improvements in various phases not just basketball. I think Flip was working on som of those things because that was who he was but now it's time for maybe some new folks to come in and change some stuff.
Think about this. Thibs and Layden are the first tea outside people with real pull to hire and fire pretty much anyone since Glen took over the franchise and put McHale and Flip in charge. Kahn was basically a youngish assist GM that got his shot so he couldn't just do what ever he wanted. Flip obviously could do what he wanted but he was familiar with most guys so he kept people around. Adelman may have had about as much power as an outsider that I can think of and he was only here for barely 2 years. Enter Tvibs and Layden. Thibs gets the POBO title and Layden is a seasoned NBA executive that can say hey we need to do this and you should probably listen to him. It's going to be interesting to see how it plays out. I feel surprisingly good about it all.
