What does this make you think Lip. Or is there a reason you are keeping your feelings to yourself on this one?

"To Play Hard, Play Together, Play with Passion, Think Innovatively, Have Fun and Be a Pro."

According to http://www.nba.com/timberwolves/wolves/basketball_operations.html/# those are the six values he focused on. To Mr. Moor I say goodbye and good luck, but any executive of a sports franchise for whom winning isn't a primary goal can GTFO as far as I'm concerned.

I noticed that we are down to two scouts and only one US scout, Calvin Booth. I guess Thibs, Layden, RJ Adelman and perhaps Ryan Saunders are evaluating talent, but it would be nice if we had more scouts before the draft.

There is a large group at Canis who absolutely despise Moor. I don't think I have ever seen what exactly they hold against him, but they must be dancing in the streets now!

I see Moor is basically getting a new gig basically being the point man for all of Glen's business interests including the Wilves and the Lynx. I'll be interested to hear more but that sounds more of a Glen move than Thibs and Layden wanting him out.

I assume this is common knowledge, but Moor is Glen's son-in-law, right?

Good point Tim I had forgotten that. It makes even more sense that he is transitioning to job he will be doing.

Didn't even know who Rob Moor was, what does the CEO of a basketball team do? All these job titles are confusing. Does he make more than Thibs? Is a VP of player personnel necessary with a GM and a POBO? Can somebody make a flow chart for me?

Chief Executive Officer. Top Dog. He only reports to the owners (or Board of Directors, if the Wolves have one).

If Glen is cleaning house of the Country Club, removing the top dog from his responsibilities is a logical move.

It will be interesting to see who is selected to replace Moor...
