I don't think anyone we draft will get the minutes Wiggins got. He was second in the NBA in minutes played behind only James Harden. While that's very impressive of Andrew to be that durable and in-shape enough to play that much, it's also dangerous, in my opinion.
I do think whichever big we draft can be penciled in for about 27-30 MPG for the season right from the get-go. That's a legitimate No. 1 overall pick. You put guys on the back burner for those.

Well people are still holding on strong to Rubio. So 5 -6 years? :)
Put one on a tee for ya Camden.

So long as he's not completely devoid of any positive growth and consistency like DWill was I'll be unconcerned. If like DWill he has one good/great game followed by a month of looking like he's playing his first ever game over and over again I'll be pretty down by mid-season. Worse yet will be if he's pulling a DWill while picks 2 and/or 3 and excelling it'll be hard not to fall back into that Minnesota self pity expecting we had our choice and picked wrong!!!!

(and let's not forget who the ninny was that started that thread. He basically started the food fight and then faded into the shadows as the rest of us duked it out....kind of clever actually).
Oh come on now. It's all tongue and cheek. I'm not going to be a hypocrite. When I saw Wiggins dribble in his first game, I was very worried. But the poll is semi-serious in that I'm curious where people draw the line on a guy. As I think about it more myself....it probably has more to do with age than years. In other words, I'd be more inclined to give guys like LaVine and Bennett more time vs. "older" guys like Payne or Bjelica if he were to come over. I'd say by 26 - you are pretty much looking at what that player will be (there will always be exceptions obviously). I have that age in mind as I look at guys like Rubio & Dieng.
Agreed.

Rubio showed tons of promise right away. Andrew showed promise in the first 25 games too. Cam hates AB and he didn't. I am worried the kid will never stay healthy. Injured every one of the last 3 years dating back to college.

Where is the 5 game option?

Wow, I hadn't thought of that yet. How much fun is our summer league team going to be with Zach feeding Towns / Okafor?

You're forgetting Fesenko. You know he'll be back.
