I don't think that is too far fetched.

I could certainly see the Lakers ending up with all those guys. But I wouldn't do back flips over that collection of players if I were a Laker fan. Kobe's age and recent injuries place a huge question mark over his ability to contribute. Rondo is and always will be a head case. And his attitude seems to be getting worse. Randle is totally untested in the NBA and he is coming off major knee surgery.

On the subject of attitudes you forget to mention Love!

I wouldn't touch Rondo at all. He isn't good anymore and he has a horrible attitude. I do think Towns and Love would make a good front court. Kobe is pretty well done. Can Randle play the 3?

I think the Lakers go all in and I think Love and Rondo are in play. I'm almost certain Love leaves Cleveland. If he is smart he goes to Boston though.

Randle is not playing the 3. Nope.

That's what I thought. Maybe they try and move him for a wing if they do get Love.

The lakers where the clear cut winners in last nights draft lottery simply because they where the only team to move up in the draft, jumping from 4 to 2.

I hated seeing that as a chance at okafor/towns to team up with kobe, clarkson, randle and max salary to offer in the off season and more money the next off season accelerats their rebuild a ton. The west gets tougher every year. I would have prefer the knicks or magic getting a top 3 pick than the lakers.

Kobe's only going to play one more year. The problem is his retirement means they can get anybody they want with his 30 million. Oh yes, they will be back soon.

Not only that... But virtually every team will be able to sign at least one max guy when the cap skyrockets.

The haves... And the have nots will take shape even more than now

Perhaps, though I wouldn't get too excited about adding Rondo to my roster at this point
