Yeah, I know Tim...and I had 'em at 25. But that was before Shabazz went down for the season and AB for at least 2 weeks. 22 looks about right now. What does the KOM say post-injuries?
We've been so bad... It broke the KOM!

Actually, I feel this is shaping up as a 4 player draft with Okafor, Towns, Mudiay, Russell....and then everyone else. I also really like Johnson, and I have talked him up a bit in other posts throughout the season, but I just don't view him as a game-changing player. His potential, IMO, is that of a super role player....not bad, but not what we need at this point. We have plenty of "good" players....we need a great one this year. I bring this up because sitting at 4 is a tough spot, as seemingly most years someone unexpected jumps into the top 3, which would move us to 5.
Damn good post Hicksy. Let's go large or not at all. Need Wiggins superstar teammate for the next 10 years.

They said Johnson was 240 lbs in the game I watched last night, he didn't look that big, nor was he very good offensively.

I agree we're likely to end up with the 4th worst record. If we have typical Timberwolves lottery luck, we'll drop to 5th in the final draft order in what is shaping up to be a draft with 4 potential NBA stars.

I think the danger with Johnson is to think what players in the league he COULD become. Not everyone becomes the next Jimmy Butler.

Wes Johnson heating up just when we need him...he's going to lead the Lakers to an anti-tanker against the Celtics tonight. Keep it up, Wes...we need that 3rd pick!

That's right cool. He COULD become the next Mark Madsen.

Nice TOM LST. Welcome to todays NBA. Where you never know whether a team is playing or tanking. I hope Adam silver and Co. find a way to fix this.

I guess I should have listened to Lipoli when he said it was conceivable that we could catch Denver. The Nuggets are in complete disarray, losing at home this week to three mediocre teams that the TOM said they should beat...Utah, Brooklyn and Utah. At the start of the week, their projected win total was 6 more than the Wolves...now the cushion is down to 3. And the TOM has them winning only one of their next 13 games, so they are in the midst of a total collapse. We need to be cheering for Denver to upset somebody.
On the other hand (although I'm not holding out much hope they will catch us), the Lakers had a good week...winning games against Boston and Utah that the TOM had them losing. So the Lakers projected win total is now just 3 less than the Wolves. Could they get hot and pass us? Doubtful, but they are another team we need to be cheering for.

We have to get a top 3 pick.
