With an easier schedule and a better team, we'll end up games over .500.

This isn't something that is limited to the wolves situation. Players are moving around every off season, so several teams are going through the same process. That means they will be improving as well.

Very good SJM!!!!!!!!!........ you are working your way there!

Now, your next step is to understand that.....

It is also very obvious to any casual observer that the vast majority of teams that are competing for playoffs in the Western Conference are not dealing with as much variation in minutes played than the Wolves.

Before too long, you understand the very basics of basketball.......I have faith in you....keep it up!

Thanks for that reply Markie!

I have located the problem. You apparently didn't realize that the wolves have games scheduled against ALL of the NBA teams, not just the playoff contenders, and that ALL the games count on their record at the end of the season.

You're little diversionary tactics didn't work against the other posters and it doesn't work with me. If you want to try and talk down to someone, you should limit that to your friends at recess.

I'll try to keep this very simple for you...once you get the very simple concepts, then I'll slowly get more advanced for you.

Let's start with this......

The Wolves are in the Western Conference.....it is the teams in one's own conference that they have to have a better record than to make the playoffs.

Think about this.....and research it if you like.

Interesting that you acknowledge that I am above you.....that is something that we shouldn't even need to talk about.............but atleast you are aware enough of yourself that thank me for responding to you......maybe there is hope for you.

Still trying to divert away from what you posted I see. There was no mention of PO's, only that the team would improve and had an easier schedule. So I pointed out that other teams would likely improve as well.

Do you see any mention of PO's????????

I have to seriously question your reading comprehension if anywhere in what I wrote led you to believe I acknowledged that you were above me, and I have no idea what the gibberish following that even attempts to say.

Hummmm.....man, it looks like i was going too advanced to begin with......many apologies....let's start more simply.

At the end of each regular season, the goal of most teams goal is to make the playoffs.

If teams don't make the playoffs then their season is over. Again, I would suggest that you research this point if you don't understand it.

Do you understand that much? If not, I'm not sure how much more simply I can break this down for you.

If you get that, then we will work on the next (don't worry, they are very simple) logical steps.
