I woke up this morning remembering that our 2014 first round pick goes to Phoenix. Can't go two years without drafting a player in the first round. Wonder if Flip could put in an unwritten clause that he'd draft a player for Boston in 2015 and then deal him to them for a second rounder or something of that sort. Might be against the league rules, I'm not sure. Just wondering how a deal could get done because Jeff Green will be available this season. Boston's not rebuilding around a 27 year old SF. They're likely to trade both Green and 28 year old Rondo and go to work in this year's draft hopefully with high picks. Bradley, Olynyk, Sullinger are their rebuilding pieces. Green and Rondo are trade pieces.

Yeah, let's not go down this road again.

LOL...."3. Trevor Ariza. He is NOT one of Washington's top 3 players. "

Go ahead and make an argument that there are 3 better players on his team. Can't do it can you? Or are you going to say the guy that shot .410% or the guy that averaged 3 RPG last year is better than Ariza, or one of the people playing behind him?

Come on. Atleast make some sense of what you say. It isn't a very high standard.

You don't think Wall, Beal and Gortat are better than Ariza? Would enjoy that argument from you.

How available is Harrison Barnes now that GSW has Iguogala?

It is hard to tell if you are being serious. The guy has beasley-esque stats. I am aware of people's propensity on this board to love the players who score alot on really bad teams. I just don't buy into it. Beasely wasn't good just because he put up close to 20 points a game for a season

It is hard to tell if you are being serious. Are you saying that a guy that shot .410% and .333% from 3 point range is better that Ariza? I am aware of people's propensity on this board to love the players who score alot on really bad teams. I accept that you are one of those guys. I just don't buy into it. Who are you talking about? Beal?

Beal did that as a 19 year old in his first year in the league. 14 PPG, 4 rebs, 2 ast, 41% shooting and 39% from 3. His numbers last year don't exactly blow anyone away, but his talent level is higher than Ariza's no doubt about it. And if you want to talk stats, your guy Ariza scored 9.5 a game last year while shooting 42% from the field and 36% from 3. Wooooo. That's so amazing. Seems like you have a man crush on Ariza. You'd be the only person in the world that would say Ariza is better than Beal.

What do you guys think it would take to get MKG from the Bobcats? They already have Henderson and Taylor who are both plus wing defenders and only put up 83 points in their first game. Do you think we could do D Will and Bazz for him? The salaries are pretty much the same (less than 2 million difference) and MKG only has one more year than D Will on his deal. They need the scoring, have extra wing defense and we could use a versatile wing defender and stat stuffer on the starting unit. I know he can't shoot but he is a good finisher at the rim and we already have 3 solid scoring options on the starting unit. This way Brewer stays on the second unit as a defensive presence which is much needed on the wing with JJ and in the future Bud playing there. I just think this would be a good swap for both teams as D Will gets a fresh start elsewhere, Bazz gets an opportunity to play somewhere where they would just need him for his scoring, and we get a young, cheap asset who can fill a hole for us for a few years while we continue to build the chemistry on this team.

That would be beautiful for us and actually a good deal for both teams. Wonder if the Cats would do it, though. I don't see them tanking this year, but they will still have a lottery pick and plenty of wings in this draft for them to skim through. Kemba/Henderson/Lottery Pick/Zeller or D-Will/Jefferson. Makes their offense much better. Think we would deal Shabazz or Shved? I'd rather cut ties with Shved, but that's because I believe in Shabazz more than Shved.
