That Dante trade isn't exactly a huge win. A below average player making more money and longer than Dante? Ooh, can I please?
Once again, the team to fleece is Sacramento. They are going nowhere and actually have Lux issues this coming summer.
A great deal for MIN would be something like MIN getting Outlaw and SAC's 2nd, SAC getting DC/Hummel/Price/Butler/Udoh/Ridnour/Neal and all of MIN's and MIL's 2nds from this year, and MIL ending up with a bunch of non-expirings and a future SAC first.
And then if they break up the band in MIA, MIN can maybe send that 2nd to MIA for Cole.
How is Gary Neal a below average player? He's about average considering his role. By no means am I saying he's worthy of starting, but he's a better player than Cunningham. I actually like DC, but it's the truth. Neal's a hair under 10 PPG for his career and a 40% 3P shooter. Couldn't we use that on our bench? Definitely. Most of us have been wanting to have a guy that can go for 20 on any given night off our bench. Well, Neal can. You're gonna have to further explain why this would be a bad trade because I'm not seeing it at all.
I don't know why you like Travis Outlaw so damn much. You've brought him up continuously, but he's a worse player than Gary Neal and you're against him! He's also making about the same as Neal so money's not a big factor in changing an opinion. Pretty sure most would agree that with Budinger back, the Wolves need a backup SG more than they need another SF (Outlaw) too.
A 2nd rounder for Cole? Wow. Aren't you the one who normally calls other people's trade ideas unrealistic?
