Here is something else that bugs me....

Why is it that Corey Brewer can step right into Houston and play a bunch of minutes off the bench, yet Troy Daniels and Jeff Adrien need multiple days of practice before knowing enough about Flip's playbook?

Brewer played under McHale when McHale was here I think? Might be the same system

It'll be interesting to see how Brewer fits in. Houston tries to do 3 things and only 3 things offensively...

1. Shoot 3s.
2. Drive.
3. Get fouled.

I don't know if Brewer is a great fit or not yet... but his energy should help. Today he certainly looked the part.

Abe, HOU also relies on transition buckets. Corey's one of the best in the league at scoring in transition.

The way former Wolves players tend to play after they move to new team I would't he surpriced it Corey would shoot 3-pointers 40% during rest of the season. He already started By shooting 2/4.

If above happens we will know for sure that Wolves are cursed.

Anyone else hope that Josh Smith ends up with the Heat? Mostly so they don't give such a good pick to the 76ers.

I know the Twins have a rich storied history of former players excelling after leaving here.

But the Wolves? Really?

Who?

[Note: Chauncey Billups? That's one guy in 26 years that comes to mind. And it's not the Wolves swung and missed. They saw something in him so they obtained him. He chose to leave.]

Speaking of former wolves, Trey Burke is really lighting it up in Utah, 36% shooting with 5 assists as the starting PG. We really could have used that production with Rubio out, where's Bill Simmons to defend him now?

They call it 3LD in Houston: 3's, Layups, and Defense.
