I can't envision a situation where Thad would walk away from his exorbitant contract next season, so we will have him for one more season. There are aspects of his game I like, though, so I would like to see Flip sign him long-term the following year. But since I see his role as only a scorer off the bench, Flip would be crazy to pay him more than $6 million a year. Thad's the kind of guy who will always be over paid, because he has generally been a coach's player his entire career...hard-working and a good guy in the locker room. But let's not overpay him at a ridiculous extent like Philly did.
