Complete reversal of last season. Kaman was in a bad situation and played like it. He grabbed the ball and shot it. Always.

He has a clear role and obvious expectations and respect from the coaches in Portland. And he's thriving as a result, even in limited minutes.

Traditional post up bigs always play poorly in d'antoni system. Was a bad fit last season.

Wow. 4 point lead after 1, and that includes 5 "prayer" points by Portland.

Seems like a lot of contact not getting called tonight.

Zach had a very forgetful stint. Unfortunately, it rubbed off on the rest of the team... :-(

Young played all 24 mins in the half. Flip has no choice since portland is playing 2 bigs at a time forcing his hand.

I don't know, world...Thad's defense and rebounding seem especially ineffective and lazy tonight. He had a nice second half against the woeful Lakers, but other than that, he has looked completely out of shape to me since he came back from his 2-week layoff. I wonder if Flip is trying to get his conditioning back by playing him the entire half.

What does Shabazz have to do to get some more minutes. He worked his rear end off on defense and also scored 8 points in 9 minutes. I don't get it. More Bazz and Bennett please, and less Young and Bud.

Portland definitely showcases our lack of 3 point shooting

Gorgui continues to improve his passing game. Nice feed to Bazz gives him 4 assists tonight after 8 in LA.

It was amazing we were keeping it close in the 3rd quarter. But then it kind of slipped away at the end.

GR3 and Adrien with some garbage time tonight?
