Phenom - I see LaVine as a potential PG or wing. He can do either. Very versatile.

Do you see him and Rubio sharing a backcourt? Would they be a good match? Or is LaVine going to need the ball in his hands.

He's plenty capable playing off-ball, in my opinion. Quite adept at running off screens and getting open for jumpers. Not the best cutter, though still decent. Improvement here stems from mainly watching more film and playing more basketball (feel for the game). Really good shooter. Could see him being 36-40% from 3P his whole career.

from what I saw of Lavine last night he will be able to do either. his athleticism is very very impresssive. GRIII can jump, Lavine can fly.

Shabazz looked like Shabazz, Hardwork and grinding. He played well.

it looked like the Flip offense of old lots of jumpers, and GRIII was really good around the elbow.

Walked out stunned and impressed with Lavine athletically, and encouraged by his floor game as well. I dont recall him making any Three poi ters (actually not sure if any of the guys we know will be on the team next year made any.) but he was at the rim a lot, and often way above it. the kid is more than a transition dunker, and I was worried that was all we were getting.

the fesenlo dunk at the end had every one on there feet.

well looks like this time of year where people get overly excited about summer league.

Note: This isn't even summer league. It was a scrimmage. Nothing that happened means absoultly nothing. zip, zero nada. Even if Bazz scored a 100 or Lavine did a 1080 dunk.

Think people are just happy to see something potentially franchise-changing to root for. There's no denying LaVine's potential, and that in itself is enough to get me excited.

I'm almost positive people said the same thing about Derrick Williams, about Jonny Flynn, Wes Johnson. They all looked good in summer league. Oozing with potential they were

I fell victim to the Williams hype, but Flynn and Johnson never had the potential LaVine does. Not even close.
