The ref is Tony Brothers, same ref we had game 3 against Phoenix when Mike, Jaden and NAW had 5 fouls and Rudy had 2 fouls in the first few minutes. He also reffed game 1 of OKC/Dallas where SGA got 11 ft attempts in the first half. I don't think Brother is inconsistent or favoring a team, but he does call it tighter than we had in game 2. Both teams should shoot more ft tonight.

Yeah, the Tony Brothers crew is NOT a good sign. They ref games as if it were the early regular season, before the league made changes to its approach in order to favor physical defense a bit more. I don't think him and his crew got the memo.

If I were Denver I'd try to bait KAT again into fouling, whether it be play-acting on marginal contact by Jokic (worked for SGA!) or getting a small guy to guard him in the post like Murray attempted to do when the charge wasn't called. This crew may be more likely to call the foul.

Nahh, this is gonna be a Naz / Naw game. Battling out there.

Gotta be more careful on defense not to pick up fouls. They're calling it a little tight so far tonight. Hopefully that loosens up.

I wish just ONCE Jokic would get called for clearing space with his elbow.

Tony Brothers has hurt us so far

Really hated that call jokic got. He was clearly baiting the foul the whole time - initiating contact and exaggerating by flailing. They Don't call it initially but then he jumpsbackwards into rudy and gets the call. Refs got played hard there - you'd think after the realize what he's doing they wouldn't let him show them up by giving that call.
