Not saying the series is over and we are a regular season snoozer of a team the last few years. But I think favoring Denver in this series was logical. We were so bad and they were so good (winning 12 straight), what kind of evidence did we have to think we could do a complete 180 overnight basically? The only thing was the last two years where we decided it was playoff time so we decided to try.FNG wrote: ↑Sat Apr 25, 2026 1:19 pm"Denver in 5" guy agrees with both of you...the Nuggets looked like a beaten-down team on the bench at the end of the game.AussieWolf3 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 25, 2026 12:52 pmI agree.Coolbreeze44 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 25, 2026 12:43 pm I don't think it's too far fetched to say that if the Wolves win tonight, the series is ours
While the Wolves have a well earned reputation of inconsistency, the fact is that problem hasn't existed in the first round.
They're currently a rather astonishing 10 and 2 in the first round since 2024
Still far from over, of course, but I'm asking myself "when are you ever going to learn that this team is totally different post-season than they are during the regular season?" I generally think of myself as an optimist when it comes to the Wolves, but I thought the Suns would easily take care of us two years ago, and I wasn't optimistic about the Lakers series last year either. But both were easy wins. Some of the names have changed over three years, but Ant/Rudy/Jaden/Mike have yet to let us down in round one of the playoffs. Let's hope they do it again.
Yup. Sucks.WildWolf2813 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 25, 2026 7:52 pm We just witnessed Donte DiVincenzo's last shot attempt as a Wolf.
