Twins waive Plouffe

I was texting my brother yesterday and it came to me that one way to look at the Plouffe disaster is that instead of getting a return for Plouffe the Twins ended up having Nunez play really well and were able to get get what was the likely type of return that Plouffe would have brought if he was healthy and hitting well. It would have been nice to deal both but if Plouffe would have been healthy (and Escobar) Nunez might not have gotten his opportunity to play enough to raise his value.
