Viking vs Redskins - GWT
Re: Viking vs Redskins - GWT
This team is done, can't we start the draft thread already? Oh yeah, no 1st round pick, that'll be a boring draft thread.
Last week the Wild and Wolves lost on Saturday, this week the Wild and Wolves lost on Saturday. Last week the Vikings lost on Sunday, this week the Vikings look like they'll lose on Sunday. At least this week we have the Wild and Wolves playing on Sunday also, what could possibly go wrong?

Vikings score a first half offensive TD and Walsh nails the PAT. Look out NFL the Vikings offense is now unlocked! Lol
Re: Viking vs Redskins - GWT
See I told you the Vikings offense will now be unstoppable.

I think everyone turned it off after that 1st quarter... ;-)

Welcome back Dr. Jekyll!
Re: Viking vs Redskins - GWT
Jake Long went down and Sirles came in and they had no shot. It seemed like Long was at least decent if he is out long term...man things look rough.

We're gonna go 7-9 with no first round pick. Regardless of injuries I think Spielman needs to go. This team has poor depth and are capped out and can't add any help. That's on the GM.

Not sure I can Spielman. The team.has been killef by injuries. It is certainly a veriy important offseason for us.

I mean, it's the GM's job to make sure we have quality depth and we have no depth anywhere. Lose AP, worst running game in the league. Lose Teddy, trade a first rounder to get his replacement. Lost Floyd and we're down to 3 DT's who aren't playing great. No good backup options basically across the whole offensive line. That's all on him.

I'm with Bleed on this one...I don't fault Spelman at all. His strategy has been to build a dominant defense through the draft, and at the start of the year it looked like we were there. But injuries to the defensive line, Kendricks, Munnerlyn and Rhodes (you can see he's not right out there) have really hurt us. And you can't blame Spelman for Barr forgetting how to make plays.
His strategy with respect to the offensive line has been to supplement lower picks with free agents, and he has made 3 key acquisitions since the summer...even having to restructure contracts to get it done. But I don't see it as his fault that all three are injured now along with Kalil and others...not to mention the starting QB and one of the best RBs in the league. Injuries have turned a potential Super Bowl team into a middle of the road team...shit happens, and I can't blame the GM for that.
