Now there is an outlet to show my excitement about Mycole Pruitt being signed to the Practice squad. Woohoo

Looks like they will get Boone and Kendricks back but some other guys are still hurt and Joseph didn't practice.

Kendricks is huge to this team. I am not sure how we do without Joseph. We survived last year, but I think we had Floyd most of those games. If he can't go we are using our 3rd and 4th DT's. Not good.

I worry about Captain being able to play. He plays a lot of downs and Alexander is not ready. Waynes is a mixed bag when Newman moves inside.

I have not looked at the schedule, but in this division we might be able to survive another loss here.

And yes Captain being out is no small thing. I feel better about Waynes on the outside than McKenzie in the slot right now. It may help if there is a full week to prepare though.

What's going on with Floyd? He was only out 4 weeks after his knee cleanup last year. I know Zim doesn't like him, but we need his talent and body on the field for snaps. The D-Line has been bad for three straight weeks now. We need a boost.

I read an old article that said it was a meniscus trim which is a bigger deal than the surgery he had before. Going from memory other athletes have had problems returning in short order after the procedure. It sucks for everyone including Floyd but it doesn't sound like there is a timetable right now for his return. He had his option picked up for next season but if he is healthy in the spring they are gonna have to think about if they want to pay him over 6 million next year. I like Floyd but that's a decent chunk of money for a guy that's kinda good but also kinda gets hurt every year.

It's semantics I think we are saying the same thing there is nothing at DT behind Tom Johnson and Shamar if Joseph can't go. I do wonder at this point though if Floyd comes back healthy is he a starter or a backup? Shamar has started 8 games this year on one of the top defenses in the league. Thats pretty good. If Floyd comes back healthy at some point and is effective and everyone else healthy as well that's a heck of a DT rotation plus adding in Robison at times if they want that type of a thing.
