Yeah I'm not so sure that the condition for valuing a player should be whether or not they can stop Giannis. I think the fact that Horford did well one on one defensively one game is a positive in his favor. Al's a great player, Giannis is rightly called the Freak.

The fact Horford had no chance doesn't diminish how great it was to witness it. And no, Al's not a great player and never has been.

It's far from a forgone conclusion that Houston wins the series but Durant being out is pretty huge. Some other player/s from GS outside of the big time guys will probably have to step up to some extent as well. Isn't Iggy kinda banged up also?

Yeah, this actually makes things really interesting. If KD weren't injured, I'd put the odds of Golden State winning the series at 90%. Now I'd say it's still probably still about 60%. I never want to see a guy get hurt, and KD is playing some unstoppable offense right now, but this does make a 7 game series more likely.

Man, I wish this round would go best of 9. Three of these series have been among the best in recent memory.

Well...that was kinda disappointing. We didn't even get a game 7 Warriors Houston matchup. I was saying at work that at least one other lesser player had to step up for the Warriors to win and Loney was that guy plus Iggy hit 5 threes. The Warriors bench guys kinda kept them in it and Houston didn't do enough early when there was an opportunity. Heck of a win for GS hats off to them. Also that was some ugly basketball from both teams much of the game.

Also I had not seen Draymond play in a number of weeks. Dude looks like he dropped a very noticeable amount of weight. What did he do ride the snake with cocaine or something? lol

If only the Wolves had listened to Cool twice. Once when I was imploring them to take CJ McCollum when they had the chance, and twice when I was suggesting Jamal Murray should have been the pick over Dunn. Where would we be today? Probably still playing in these playoffs.
