After all the trauma I thought this should still exist.
Utah is a great regular season team and Ingles proves you need athleticism in the playoffs. Lillard is really good. Bucks are really good. I'm pumped for second round in the East.

Simmons has Rubio-like issues.

Yes he does, Cam. I'd call him a rich-man's Rubio. :). Bottom line is that, in today's NBA, you have to be able to shoot - especially if you want to help your team advance in the playoffs.

I would say the one thing though is Simmons finishes at the rim and Rubio doesn't.
KOC wrote a good article on him for the ringer, what's worth a read

Remember how much we loved Rubio and now how critical we are of Teague for being passive too.
The best years in Wolves history had Sam Cassel taking big shots. Not dribbling around eating shot clock and then forcing others to take bad shots.

And that's why he's a rich man's Rubio. :)

Philly fans seem a little more bold than Wolves fans. It took them less than two years to boo Simmons. Some Wolves fans still think Rubio was a great player for us.

I'll take Ben Simmons (who is flawed) on my team anyday...depending on how much i ultimately have to pay him.

That was a big win by the Clippers. That team has really impressed me the way they've come together this year and stuck together after losing Harris. They reinforce the importance of good team chemistry, just like Boston has indicated the danger of bad team chemistry. The Clips probably won't win more than 1 more game. They're just outmatched. But it's fun to watch them fight.
This Golden State-Rockets matchup that looks inevitable in the second round could be the best series of the whole playoffs. Really looking forward to that.
I'm kinda hoping that Philly goes down in the first round, even though they're definitely the better team. I dislike those guys about as much as I like the Nets.
Dame looks pretty good right now. Always loved watching his style of play. Those pull-up 3s from DEEP are pretty fun to see.

1. Rubio's pros were much bigger than his cons
2. Rubio will shoot 3's. He's just not great at them. Simmons won't shoot at all. There's a difference.
3. Ben's an all-star player who really just has to fix that one part of his game. All Wolves fans did was cry about how Rubio could cost us in the playoffs when they weren't good enough to get there. Come to find out, that wasn't Rubio's fault.
