That would be interesting for sure, not what I was expecting from Miami. Love his game. If we got Dragic and a wing from Miami and unloaded Dieng I'd be pretty happy with that deal.

Why not send Dragic directly to Phoenix and we keep Teague? It just seems like unnecessary churn. These guys are pretty similar in terms of production and contracts. Dragic is older, but only three years.

I was thinking that too since Dragic has a history with Phoenix. I think on paper they're similar, but Dragic definitely strikes me as the more aggressive initiator. I give Dragic the edge but yes, same ballpark. To me it really doesn't matter because they should be freeing up cap space to try and sign Kemba in the summer. I think he would be ideal with KAT. But that's a pipe dream.

Isn't Dragic's deal up this summer?

And yes... Kemba has been sitting there for quite some time... waiting. Seeming like an obvious option.

Wouldn't he be perfect? Underappreciated, loves the big shot. Just looked at his stats too and was a late bloomer for sure. He broke out in year 5 in a big way, maybe could speak to Wiggins in a way that understands his struggles a bit.

I don't think Tyus makes it through the week as a Wolves player.

There was a report that Butler's agent leaked that Butler said Miami is now his preferred destination.

I couldn't dislike Jimmy anymore at this point. Does he really need to go try to diminish more of our already reduced leverage when we are honoring his request?

Enjoy playing with another middling team and trying to mold some young talent.

Good riddance.

I want Bam, Richardson and filler for Jimmy. They are getting a top 15 player who's going to re-sign there. I would propose Jimmy/Patton for Richardson, Bam and Dion so we stay under the tax. I would also take Whiteside if they took G off our hands and do Jimmy/G for Whiteside/Richardson/Bam. Just get a deal done already.

The Reports have been the Wolves have shown no interest in moving Tyus. If Dragic is in the deal I could see him (or Teague) flipped to the Suns for an asset. Worth remembering Dragic's national team coach is now coach of the Suns. I might like Dragic a little more than Teague but having the same PG from last year while maybe getting a better asset from the Suns sounds good to me. It's gonna be interesting to see how this plays out.
