What makes him a player that you wouldn't take top-five? Who would you say is better?
1. Okafor
2. Towns
3. Russell
4, Muiday
5. Winslow
That's my top 5. I just don't see WCS being anything more than a role player in the NBA. This team needs more than a role player from this years draft.

The question is...do you consider him a defensive centerpiece? And if so, is a defensive centerpiece at the heart of your defense a role player or a key cog that makes everyone else better?

Valid point Hockey. I see his ceiling as somewhere in between Sam Dalembert and Tyson Chandler. I wouldn't be upset if we ended up with him, I'm just saying he isn't in my top 5. I'd be ok trading down for him if we luck out and get the 5th pick.

The love for Winslow on this board is getting out of hand, in my opinion.

Does Towns have man boobs? Doesn't look like he's ever been introduced to a bench press.

What if we got the 5th pick and Towns, Russell, Okafor, and Muiday were off the board? Who would you take?
Cauley-Stein would be the "draft for need" pick, but man, I would hate to pass up another potential 2-way stud in Winslow. WCS is a junior. He's not going to suddenly develop a 3-point shot or advanced low post game.
Hezonja, Hezonja, and Hezonja and I'd pick him 3rd overall if I could.

Matt, I think his ceiling is closer to Chandler than Dalembert, but I do see him somewhere between those two in terms of what he'll be in the NBA. I'm not 100% sure how I feel about that overall, which is why I have him at #4 on my list (not over the scorers, but a high end 2nd tier).

I had Stanley at 5 for most of the year, but the reality is winslow is currently better and has more potential. You have to be able to see that.

He's averaging 13/11/4/2 BPG's and almost 2 SPG's on almost 60% FG for a perimeter player. He's getting to the bucket almost at will and finishing at a high clip with either hand. He's also got similar measurables to Johnson while actually showing up on the big stage. He saved Duke's season against Utah similar to how Towns just saved Kentucky's season last night. It's a signature game on the big stage. He's always been just outside the top 5 so why is it surprising a good tournament has helped his stock?

Because it's not the guy Cam identified early in the season. Don't you know how relentlessly he will defend his forecasts?
