Rosas probably looked at the stat where the wolves have an ortg of 80 when kat and wiggs are both off the floor.
Dlo should at least solve that problem.

All players listed above are very good three-point shooters. No one would dispute that because, well, it'd be silly to. Their production -- especially the volume -- speaks for itself.
There are legitimate weaknesses and concerns with Russell's game. Perimeter shooting is not one of them. Let's put that to bed right now.
Cam - Russell's career 3-point percentage is 35.3%. His average so far this season is 35.2%. He had a career year in 3-point accuracy last season at 37%. That was the only season of his prior four in which his 3-point percentage was higher than around 35%. He shot 35.1% his first season, 35.2% his second season, 32.4% his third season and then 37% last season. He's back to 35.2% so far this season. It's pretty clear that he's a 35% 3-point shooter unless you use a limited selective sample that includes his career high from last season and exclude his career low as well as the two seasons when his percentage was at 35. Overall, I'd say that Russell is decent 3-point shooter, but not elite. Is it fair to characterize his 3-point shooting as "very good"? I don't think so, but reasonable minds can differ on whether that term should apply to DLO's 3-point shooting. So I think your characterization is disputable in spite of your pronouncement.
But I'll grant you this. DLO would instantly become our second best 3-point shooter after KAT if added to the roster. And he'd be another 20+ point scorer on our roster. He'd also be our best ball-handler and shot creator. But he's a poor defender and not what I'd call an elite or "very good" 3-point shooter by today's NBA standard. I still have concerns about whether he has truly matured and I question his impact on winning. Overall, I just don't think he'd be worth getting given what we'd likely have to give up and the fact that he's on a max contract. I don't put much stock in the fact that he's purportedly friends with KAT. Whether KAT stays will ultimately turn on whether this team wins. If we acquire Russell and don't win, the two will just want to leave together. Moreover, don't forget that Marbury and KG were friends, but Marbury forced a trade to leave because of jealously over KG's contract.
If it's Wiggins straight up for Russell, then count me in. But I don't see a realistic deal for DLO that I'd like.

So... last summer the Wolves could have landed Russelll mostly just for the money and probably Jeff Teague and minor pieces.
Russell basically said "No thanks."
So only a few months later, the Wolves would have to allegedly give up much more significant pieces to land him. So the Russell + Towns pairing would be significantly worse -- solely because of Russell's decision-making.

Mmmm, thought this board was mostly past this sort of stuff years ago, yet it seems like the personal insults rears its ugly head now and again. You may not like Cam's takes, but you are sounding like the one-note tune with your regular attacks on him (not that he particularly cares). Grow up.

Shut the F up, Q.
I hate you so much.
Your takes are stupid. And so is your face. StupidFace!
[Note: I apologize. That one got away from me there.]

It actually started a few years ago with Cam's emergence on the board among others. This is a bit of revisionist history on your part.

This is an odd thing to say from someone who routinely happens to be at the center of most conflicts on this forum.
But if you want to play victim again, that's Cool -- pun intended.

There was much more harmony on this forum prior to your arrival. That's a fact. Let's not forget the sabbatical of shame you went on after alienating half the members.

https://clutchpoints.com/warriors-news-dangelo-russell-committed-golden-state-before-meeting-with-timberwolves/DLO article talking about the offseason and how he went to GS instead of MN
I am a bit torn on DLO, right now he is playing with G-leaguers. I think a three-person rotation of the G spot with him, Okogie and Culver might work. I just dont think we can trade for him with spare parts - Teague, Dieng, Napier, Von? That is a lot of expiring deals for GS and only 1 year for Dieng who could be serviceable as a backup for them. They are tanking but I dont see them wanting to take our trash in a tanking year when they already have shittier players on the floor.
Say it did happen:
DLO / Culver
Okogie / Nowell
Wiggins / Layman
Cov / Bates
Kat / Reid
That is a pretty potent offense - Okogie would offset some of DLO shortcomings much like GS does it with Klay and Green (ours version OK and Cov)
