This stat is telling...Towns, who's surrendered a 73.3% field goal percentage within six feet on defense, is providing less statistical resistance than any big man in the league right now.

Reminiscent of his early years with the Wolves when he was a full time Center and they tried using him in drop coverage. Just a total disaster. KAT finally started doing better in a high wall scheme in the PatBev year and then seemed to just improve in general defensively since then with the Wolves. Not sure what the Knicks scheme is, but if it's drop coverage it should be no surprise that he's struggling.

Yeah. But I think KAT will move back to PF when Robinson comes back, with OG moving back to SF and Hart moving into his 6th man role. When that happens, I think their defense will be much improved and they will be ready to challenge the Cavs and Celtics.
