Why not double LeBron from the inbounds play instead of guarding player in the back court...

I'm not sure why Towns is even bothering to defend the inbounder. He's not going to impact the play there. Make someone else beat you. I would have doubled LeBron. Oh well.

We still tighten up even with a vet like Jimmy. Fun game to watch, even without any D.

Massive brain fart defensively to end the game. As about five of us here have mentioned why both guarding players 70ft from the hoop. It was obviously going to LeBron. I love Thibs, but man I question his ability to draw up winning plays at the death. Just simple stuff really.

100%, don't even guard anyone on that side of the court. Let them huck it. Well, the Wolves played bad defense for 99% of the game, so why change on the last set?

One trend is we lose when we rely exclusively on Jimmy down the stretch. We have too many options and too many threats to become that transparent at the end of games.

bench with a combined -25 in a 2 pt game. And people wonder why Thibs plays the starters so much.

Thibs the coach needs to ask for some help from Tihibs the GM.

If Thomas wants to hoist a 60-footer to win the game, you let him. Same with Smith. I think you can just leave them in the backcourt and play all your defenders where a shot can be made since it's a catch-and-shoot possession only. I'm just confused on that.

So true, our offense is great the whole game, what necessitates a switch? Jimmy is great but very predictable in ISO ball. Bron knew there was no way he was giving it up. Not the first time this year like you say.
