I am 100% kidding. I am starting to change my stance on the wolves PF spot. I used to want Young, but I think in the long run it might be better to just sign someone like Brand, be bad (but have good pieces) and draft a PF in the upcoming draft. Then use all of the expirings the wolves have (barea/Shved/Luc/hummel/maybe brewer and bud) and use that money and try and sign Klay for maybe the max money, what I am more willing to do when the wolves have Wiggins. Or spend the money on Milsapp or someone like that.
But if the wolves do throw a max on Klay and the Warriors don't match, Klay will be the starting SG, with Lavine being the the combo gaurd sixth man off the bench ala Harden. If the Warriors do match they will be in cap hell for years to come.

@bballbreakdown 3m
Defending the PnR BH well doesn't seem to be vital to an overall good team defense. Top 5 D's defended PnRs as 3rd or 4th best category
@bballbreakdown 3m
Most important defensive category to the top 5 Defenses? Transition. It was best category for 3 tms, 2nd best on another
@bballbreakdown 1m
Top 5 Defenses Overall vs PnR Ball Handler (PnR BH Defensive Rank)
1. IND (5)
2. GSW (10)
3. SAS (11)
4. CHI (12)
5. CHA (24)
Thad Young is going to help us extremely in both areas (P&R and transition). Add in Wiggins, who plays good man and help defense, and I do believe our team defense will be much improved. Not to mention the depth we should have with Dieng getting more minutes and Brewer as a sixth man type.

Beasley was #7 on the list of FA PFs that appeared on the one Wolves Weekly show...
Just sayin'! :)

It sounds like the Wolves have opened up dialogue with Dante's people, according to Doogie. That tells me that the Wolves are close on a deal for Thad in which Luc goes to Philly. Then Dante can come in and take the end of the bench spot that Luc would occupy, behind Thad and AB. I like Dante as a 5th or 6th big and with injury concerns with Pek and Turiaf, it won't hurt to have the extra bigs.

Dante was #3 on the list... Behind Brand and Blatche.
Young, Bennett and any one of those 3 listed above would be nice depth at PF, to go along with Pek, Dieng and Turiaf at C.

If we get Young and keep Bennett, we likely won't be adding another PF (Brand, Blatche, Cunningham, etc.).

I could definitely see Dante returning as long as Barea can be dumped somewhere else to open a spot.

Haven't you heard? Bennett's the next Barkley for crying out loud!
I've said from the beginning that I hope we flip Bennett for Young, but several Minnesota sources say that Flip will keep Bennett. I hope they're wrong, but it is what it is. I can only hope for the best.
