That’s actually a good point. Randle did a lot of good things here, but it was time to go. I like the decisiveness. Same with Dilly.

This. TC is an idiot in my opinion, but at least he’s not a stubborn, prideful idiot.WildWolf2813 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 23, 2026 11:22 amthe real key is not making the mistakes in the first place because now every move he makes looks like a move he's making to fix a prior screw up.
Even us paying Ayo $112 mil looks like something we're only doing because he botched the Dillingham pick.
Re: Randle traded to Brooklyn in 3 team deal
Did he really improve the team, or is he living off a few good picks from Rosas and mortgaging our future by always owing future picks? Ant is wise to TC and it won’t be long now until he requests a trade. TC is like the unemployed guy that everyone is impressed with, even though he just inherited some cash and has all of his credit cards maxed out. We’ll be lottery bound again by the 27-28 season.thedoper wrote: ↑Tue Jun 23, 2026 11:44 amI think turning Dillingham into Ayo was a gain for our team. It's a big price tag but seems consistent with what his market value would have been. Im not sure there is a GM in the league who doesnt make mistakes in the first place. Big picture he has improved this team from the beginning of his tenure until now. Less talent evaluation mistakes is a fair criticism but there are definitely positives in his time as GM I would say.WildWolf2813 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 23, 2026 11:22 amthe real key is not making the mistakes in the first place because now every move he makes looks like a move he's making to fix a prior screw up.

Also, he didn’t turn Dilly into Ayo. He turned a bunch of draft capital into Ayo. Dilly was just the matching salary. Probably would have only cost 3 picks if they didn’t have to take Dilly back.D-Loser25 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 23, 2026 8:53 pmDid he really improve the team, or is he living off a few good picks from Rosas and mortgaging our future by always owing future picks? I think Dillingham was an asset in that deal but obviously not much of one since they had to give up four 2nds. Chicago wanted a first bit nobody was willing to give them one because there was no guarantee they would be able to resign Ayo.D-Loser25 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 23, 2026 8:59 pmAlso, he didn’t turn Dilly into Ayo. This is complete and utter bullshit lol. It's been reported and confirmed by multiple sources that Ant is fully on board and in support of where the team is right now. Reporters like Jon K, TC himself today, hell even Big Perk talked to people and reported it.
Ant loves the current young core, which was clearly a key reason Jaden was off the table for Giannis. People want to bitch about TC and they need to realize Ant has some influence. They're not going to blow up the roster of it would piss him off.

A really good analysis by the guy I consider the best Wolves analyst on YouTube. This video details how Naz Reid will benefited from Randle’s departure. I think he or someone else could probably do a video on how Jaden and Ayo will benefit. And those benefits are without additions the Wolves can now make because of the additional financial flexibility or trade exception generated by the deal.

Nice little vid with good insight. Just adds more excitement for what the lineup could do as it is now.Lipoli390 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 24, 2026 12:01 am https://youtu.be/sTOJAKsBU7Y?si=FNI0309KNTVY4EPP

Get your story straight… it was reported very loudly that Jaden was ON the table for Giannis (and joker)TheGrey08 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 23, 2026 11:56 pmThis is complete and utter bullshit lol. Big perk, huh? Ok then lol… TC took a couple of big swings and ultimately fell short. It was the right move to trade Randle, but the actual right move was to never trade Kat and figure it out with Ant and Kat (and Jaden). You’re being naive if you don’t think Ant is looking at his options over the next year. I haven’t heard this anywhere, so this is all me, but what if Giannis actually recruits his “favorite player” down to play with him in Miami? They obviously don’t have the remaining trade assets right now, but what if Ant decides that he wants to play hard ball and demands a trade? I could totally see this. You really think Ant would be loyal to the wolves if Giannis, Spoelstra and south beach come calling? Cmon.

I am pretty tuned into wolves news. Can you enlighten us as to who was very loudly claiming Jaden was in the table?D-Loser25 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 24, 2026 12:53 amGet your story straight… it was reported very loudly that Jaden was ON the table for Giannis (and joker)TheGrey08 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 23, 2026 11:56 pmThis is complete and utter bullshit lol.
