Well…that is the definition of addition by subtraction I guess. We don’t have to pay round one money to a rookie…there has to be some sort of additional asset coming back though? Or is the difference between first round and second round money actually that valuable?

This puts them approximately 2 million under the cap. No restrictions on trades. Interesting trade

Moving back to pick 33 also saves us cap space for a rookie contract IF we draft one there. Difference between 5 slots in talent is nothing.

Yeah, it's a healthy cleansing of the system that's for sure. Glad we can move on from him rather than drag this out. And also no $ tied up in 1st round money with #28 shipped out.

The question is what does Connelly do next?
