It's a game we clearly would have won with a healthy KAT

Thought Ryan coached well, I really wish he would use his challenge though.

One of those games

Yeah, I didn't think we could win this one since it was a road game on a back-to-back against the same team.

Cleveland's defense is for real. They are 8th in defensive rating. Jarrett Allen was a HUGE difference maker tonight with his defense at the rim. They will not miss Drummond at all once he gets traded or moves on. I think this is a team to keep an eye on as these young guards keep getting better.

Nowell is a tough defender too from what i can see.

I agree with both of you. To Cam's point, Nowell just looks like he really knows how to play basketball. I have no doubt he'll start hitting his threes because he's always been a really good three-point shooter, including at the G-League level where three-point distance is that same as the NBA. He just needs to continue getting regular consistent minutes and gain his confidence. Otherwise, he's doing a lot of other things, including hitting his mid-range shot, keeping the ball moving on the offensive end and playing well on the defensive end.

Rubio only missed three shots. The problem is that he's so off his game... he's been so bad... that he's actively trying NOT to shoot. Okogie does it too at times. He was 1 - 12 fg the past two games.

But it's even more important for a PG to be a threat of some kind. Those passing lanes close a lot tighter when the defense knows you're not trying (incapable) of scoring.

Rubio and Okogie kill the offense with their inept shooting. It not only hurts that they themselves don't hit shots, their defenders muck off and are essentially in position to double the next closest player. You can't space the floor when you have either of these guys playing because the paint gets clogged up so easily.

It's a serious problem I see every game. I'm fast tracking McDaniels to starter just because he'll make the offense so much better.

So sorry Rubio and Okogie, you're demoted to bench or backup minutes at most. Even then I think we'd be honesty better with Culver and JMac getting minutes at backup over them. Not to mention we also have Vandy and Ed Davis playing too, you need at least 4 shooters on the floor at all times IMO.

I can see the point of wanting to see if they can get it going, but at the same time I'm playing the best guys who give us a chance to win.
